This site is compiled by Faith Warn, who was living on Kalymnos when the kouros was unearthed.
She is writing a book about the Kalymnos kouros and her quest to find its meaning.

"The kouros is leading me on a path to deeper understanding of the human story. As individuals and communities, we can choose to replace conflict and inequality with peace and partnership."

Faith is now based in Kent, UK. She is an author, journalist, speaker and broadcaster who has contributed to The Times, Sunday Telegraph, Classic FM and BBC Radio 4.

While in Kalymnos, Faith wrote the book Bitter Sea - the Real Story of Greek Sponge Diving and became associate producer of Vasilis Vasiliadis' film The Sponge Divers Dance.
